I am really glad to see this. Who had them last time around - was it Setanta?
I like watching rugby, but not enough to buy a special channel or invest in some special package for it. Bonus that some of these games are at a decent hour PST for me.

Bonus that some of these games are at a decent hour PST for me. Setanta had them, and if I'm not mistaken, not all games were live. I seem to remember one Ireland game where I already knew the final score when I watched it. This is great news, I am happy to not have to get Setanta to watch these games. With NBC showing a few games themselves, it makes for an interesting turnaround since even the 2007 event. The 2007 event was only on a premium station in Canada, I don't even think it was easily available in the States. Now it will be on basic cable in Canada and on cable and OTA television in the States.

I agree. I love watching Ireland rugby, but I won't pay extra for it. I hope that TSN/TSN2 has all of their games because I'll make an effort to watch all Ireland and Canada games.
There could still be some games on Setanta. As I noted, it sounds like TSN/TSN2 won't have all games. I suppose they could stream some of them online, but I think it would make sense to sub-lease a few to Setanta.
I remember watching the 2003 Rugby World Cup on Setanta. Since then, I've barely watched any international rugby (I've watched some Magners League via the BBC iPlayer).
